Physical Disability Support Service (PDSS) is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly organised and motivated individual to support the current practitioner and the team in the delivery of the various services offered. PDSS is a well-established team, whose core function is to work within mainstream schools and to improve access to education for Nottinghamshire children and young people with complex physical disabilities and medical needs.

We are looking for a competent person with a positive attitude to join our small and friendly team. You will need to be able to prioritise your own workload and have excellent customer service skills. A variety of computer programmes are used daily, so accuracy and excellent keyboard skills will be required. Knowledge of excel and Microsoft Office is beneficial. The role will entail the following but is not exclusive to:

Financial monitoring, reconciling expenditure and providing reports Support with arranging and processing the team’s moving and handling training activities before and after courses have been delivered Involvement in sourcing and ordering recommended ICT equipment Administrative support for PDSS Referral outcomes and general meetings Collation of referrals and adding these to the Mosaic system Telephone advice to schools, parents and signposting as required Support to uphold the maintenance and running of the PDSS building Any other administrative tasks that are required

There will be the opportunity to work in a hybrid way (office and home based working)and to assist with service development to maintain the dynamic approach of the team. You will be able to work effectively as a team member but also to have the motivation to work through tasks independently.
