At WHSmith our people are at the heart of everything we do. They are the ones that go the extra mile for our customers. The ones that enable our growth. We now have an exciting opportunity for an Artworker to join our team at our Support Centre in London.

The main purpose of an Artworker is to create accurate POS for key promotional events related to our UK Travel and International Retail businesses, opening doors to further career development.

What you will be doing:

  • Creating print-ready files that meet standards in the printing industry (bleeds, crop marks and colour profiles)
  • Translating concepts to a series of print-ready files
  • Producing pixel-perfect artwork for print and digital
  • Making sure brand guidelines are followed
  • Supporting other members of the team in developing assets for ongoing projects
  • Creating templates using Adobe Apps 2024

What we are looking for:

  • You'll have previous experience in a creative design / art working environment, either agency or in house with a commercial awareness for print solutions
  • An excellent knowledge of Apple Mac, fluency in InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator are must haves
  • The ability to work with online workflow tools (Asana, Monday or Trello)
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines and cope with evolving priorities
  • Confident at managing your time and working in a fast-paced environment
