EYFS/Key Stage 1 Class Teacher

An opportunity has arisen for a EYFS/KS1 Class Teacher to join our team.  Due to this being a maternity cover, initially this is a fixed term position beginning 4 September 2024

The ideal candidate will:

Possess qualified teacher status Be able to establish excellent relationships with children and parents, promoting aspirational achievement and progress for all groups of pupils including children with SEND. Believe that all pupils, regardless of their background are capable of reaching their full potential Have high expectations of learning and behaviour Have excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a team. Be able to take a lead or co-lead role in a curriculum area and have a positive influence  (please state your preferred curriculum area)  Have recent experience of teaching in Reception or Year 1. Possess the knowledge and skills to effectively teach in mixed age classes.
