CNC Recruitment are seeking multiple Production Operators for our prestigious client in Yeovil, a globally recognised, profitable and respected company, specialised in providing high quality engineered photonic solutions for use in harsh environments.

Responsibilities:

Produce general electrical and mechanical assemblies to work instructions. Follow internal production processes/ work instructions. Meet IPC guidelines for (electrical) standards of work, where required (training can be provided) Able to Solder, Wire Harness, Optical termination, Crimp (or whatever is applicable to role in production) Proficient in a range of mechanical fastening operations to work instructions. Carry out Configuration testing using a laptop and software to pre-scribed process instructions. Responsible for own husbandry of tools and organisation of workspace. A continuous improvement mindset which relentlessly seeks ways to improve the process and product within controlled change methodology.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot assembly issues
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
