The Role

What you will do

You will operationally manage and plan the fitness to teach casework, ensuring team performance and productivity, case throughput, as well as compliance throughout with associated rules, policy and process/procedures.

What you will need to be successful

You are a qualified solicitor and holder of (or entitled to hold) a full and unrestricted Law Society of Scotland practising certificate You have role qualifying experience as a solicitor in a relevant sector and evidence of effective legal decision-making and advice You have leadership skills and experience in regulatory casework (or equivalent) and in the effective management of people You understand effective legal/regulatory casework planning, management and operations You have high quality written, research and analytical skills. You are an excellent communicator with strong influencing and advocacy skills.

Working Hours / Pattern

We see this role being based on full time working hours of 35 hours per week, however we would still like to hear from you if you are interested in the role but have alternative needs in relation to working hours or pattern.
