We have a unique opportunity at Suffolk County Council to support our Homes for Ukraine Scheme as an  Administrator , working with the Public Health and Communities Directorate. We are looking for Monday - Friday administrative support to the Home for Ukraine team, which is an essential position for the efficient running of the team. The role will be offered on a fixed term basis until 31 March 2025.

You will need to have experience of administrative duties, able learn new processes quickly and work as part of team.

Your role and responsibilities  

The role will be mainly computer and telephone based and you will therefore need to be confident and experienced in using IT including Outlook, MS Teams, SharePoint and web-based programmes. You will also need to be confident in talking to people on the telephone.

You will be first point of contact for Ukrainian hosts usually via telephone email or video call and your role will include resolve queries and signposting to other members of the team for support. You will gather information and input data to ensure our records are accurate.

If you are interested in helping and supporting people who have fled the conflict in Ukraine, and have experience of undertaking administration tasks with high level accuracy, then this could be the job for you.

You will work as part of a well established team who will offer support, training and guidance to enable you to flourish in your role.
