For our Hersham office in Surrey, UK* we are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Lead. In this position you will report functionally to our Regional Quality Manager. As our Quality Assurance Lead, you will be working as a Key Audit Resource to the Quality Management Function in the region.

As our Quality Assurance Lead, you will:

  • Coordinate and Support Quality Audit Program.
  • Perform Corporate Quality Management System Audits and Project Audits.
  • Supports External Auditing on compliance with ISO certification.
  • Perform Supplier and Contractor Audits & Quality Assessment.
  • Management of Non-Conformances, including tracking and timely closure.
  • Coordinate Observations/ Minor NCRs.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis.
  • Monitoring of the Continuous Improvement & supports with implementation.
  • Preventative Action development & Implementation.
  • Support and implementation of the QMS Awareness and inductions.
  • Lesson Learnt Management & Coordination.
  • Quality Risk – Inputs Projects Risk Registers.
  • Identifies Quality Gaps.
  • Develop and shares Quality Alerts.
  • Supervises Construction Quality Auditing.
  • Support Construction Audits as/when required.
  • Monitor and Measure Quality Key Performance Indicator.
  • Input to Construction Readiness Reviews and Phase Gate Reviews.

Your profile:

  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent and suitable experience in Engineering.
  • Extensive experience in Quality Auditing in Oil and Gas/Energy sector.
  • ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management Systems – Internal / Lead Auditor qualification.
  • Significant experience in Quality Assurance function.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Site Quality Control/Construction experience is beneficial.

* Earlier this year, Air Products announced plans to relocate from the current Hersham offices in Surrey, UK to a new site. The current building doesn’t align with our sustainability commitments, and it is not feasible to upgrade it to the same standard as modern buildings. The new offices will be located at 1000 Hillswood Park, Chertsey KT16 0PS. The building is set in parkland space with an EPC rating of A and a number of sustainability credentials including solar panels, and air source heat pumps. The move is expected to take place in phases from early 2025.
