Location Overview:

Join our bustling Bromley office, situated in one of London's greenest boroughs. Here you'll find plentiful and easy commuting routes, with central London just 15 minutes away by train.

Role Description:

The Manual Payments and Cheques team in Bromley is responsible for processing Manual Payments received from clients and internal lines of business, handling Cheques issued by the clients from their account with BOFA, or made payable to our clients, and also handling certain Specialised payment related tasks which need to be managed within the UK.

Responsibilities:
  • You will be processing and releasing of manual payment instructions across 21 European branches, ensuring deadlines are strictly adhered to.
  • You will maintain a high level of accuracy when processing and releasing payments via the local clearings.
  • You will be Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues using own initiative and knowledge.
  • You will be liaising with servicing both in Bromley and the local European branches and other internal business partners on a daily basis.
  • You will maintain and improve quality service and products through initiating and implementing new initiatives to drive the department forward.
  • You will build good relationships with business partners across LOB's.

What we are looking for:
  • You will understand the Payments business and SWIFT.
  • You will have efficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • You will have the ability to prioritise, use your own initiative and be flexible.
  • You will have a proactive approach to problem resolution.
  • You will have the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and navigate change and prioritize daily.
  • You will have an understanding of the Cash management business and European payment processing.

Skills that will help (optional):
  • GBS and GIN knowledge will be advantageous.
  • An understanding of the European ACH clearings will be advantageous.
  • Good team player, enthusiastic, flexible and committed will be advantageous.
