Assistant Learning Mentor

Assistant Learning Mentor Pay Scale C1

35 hours per week (term-time) plus 5 days 

We are looking to recruit an Assistant Learning Mentor, a fundamental role within our wonderful school. We are seeking an individual who has experience of working with children, their families and a range of professionals to identify and address barriers to learning. We want all our children to thrive and shine. 

The successful candidate will have experience of working with young children. An understanding of the primary curriculum in addition to the different challenges children may face, whether in relation to their mental health, life-experiences, such as bereavement or the way they learn. 

The role involves close liaison with our Special Educational Needs Coordinator, Learning Mentor and Designated Safeguarding Lead, in addition to a range of external agencies. 

The ability to communicate clearly with a range of stakeholders is also essential.

The selection process will involve a group task with children, a short written task and a formal interview.
