Level 2 Teaching Assistant

10 hours per week (9am to 3pm, one hour lunch), 39 weeks per year (to include Inset days)

Fixed Term contract until July 31st 2025

Treowen School is a friendly, community primary school catering for pupils from reception to year six.

There is also a pre-school setting within the school.

The school is within walking distance of the town centre.

We are looking for a dedicated teaching assistant, who can demonstrate a commitment to our values and goals, a team player who can also show initiative, and is keen to support pupil wellbeing and the development of the new curriculum in Wales.

Knowledge and experience of delivering a range of literacy and numeracy interventions are required.

An understanding of Thrive or ELSA and/or an ability to speak Welsh would be welcomed, but not essential.
