An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional teacher to join Tiverton High School as the Subject Leader of Design & Technology. As Subject Leader, you will be leading a forward-thinking department who are passionate about D&T across the Key Stages and beyond the curriculum. You will have a clear vision for D&T within the curriculum and will contribute to whole school improvement.

The school has a dedicated team of teachers and staff who work tirelessly to ensure that each and every student receives the highest quality education. From traditional academic subjects like English, Maths and Science, to vocational courses such as Sports Studies, Health & Social Care and Construction, there is something for everyone at Tiverton High School.

It is essential that you are an exceptional classroom practitioner who is able to inspire students to achieve. You will need to combine excellent organisational and management skills with the ability to lead, inspire and motivate both staff and students. You will have previous experience in a department or whole school leadership role and be able to demonstrate your positive impact on student outcomes.

The Design department is a dedicated team, striving to raise standards through the continual development of outstanding teaching and learning in a well-equipped and resourced workshops and classrooms.
