Job Title - PLC Programmer


Responsibilities

• Develop and implement PLC programs for industrial automation systems.

• Design and configure HMI (Human Machine Interface) screens for operator control and monitoring.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and specifications for PLC programming projects.

• Troubleshoot and debug PLC programs to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.

• Conduct testing and validation of PLC programs to ensure proper functionality and performance.

• Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance and operations teams regarding PLC systems.

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in PLC technology and recommend improvements to existing systems.

• Create and maintain documentation for PLC programs, including program logic, wiring diagrams, and user manuals.

• Assist in the installation and commissioning of PLC systems, ensuring proper integration with other equipment.

• Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to source and procure necessary hardware and software for PLC projects.


Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field

• Strong knowledge of PLC programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagram

• Proficiency in programming software such as Siemens TIA Portal, Allen-Bradley RSLogix, or Schneider Electric Unity Pro

• Experience in designing and implementing PLC control systems for industrial automation

• Ability to troubleshoot and debug PLC programs and hardware components





Education:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation engineering.


Experience:

  • least 6 years of experience as a PLC & HMI programmer.
  • in Siemens, Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi PLC & HMI software tools.
  • on experience of using Autocad & Eplan P8.
  • to read and interpret control schematics and troubleshooting.
  • motion control and servo motion control systems.
  • on experience of different communication protocols like Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, TCP/IP.
  • implementation and maintenance.
  • of hardware configurations and power requirements.
  • to work independently.
  • to travel.
  • and problem solving thinking
  • be able to work and collaborate in team environment.
