Maintaining a healthy IT environment and a good cyber hygiene culture are fundamental components of how we manage and mitigate against risk within Digital Public Services and across the broader organisation. It demands close working across a range of internal business teams, seeing to ensure that:

The contracted technology partners deliver on their security obligations The right technology decisions are made by the organisation Security and privacy are designed into products and service Processes and procedures are designed to support and maintain a secure business environment People and third parties who need to know are provided with the information that they require to operate, maintain, support, deliver, and protect our IT infrastructure and our investment Risks to the business are managed to a level acceptable to the organisation The organisation complies with all relevant legislation, regulations, and standards A culture of good cyber-hygiene and a healthy IT environment exist across the organisation The services offered by the organisation can be trusted by its partners and customers

Information

Location:  West Lothian Council Civic Centre, Howden South Road, Livingston, West Lothian, EH54 6FF

It is anticipated that the role will involve a blended model of office and home working. This flexible approach will be agreed between employee and line manager.

Duration:  Permanent

Hours of Contract:  Standard working week is 36 hours Monday to Friday. 

Hours can be worked flexibly in agreement with the Line Manager.
