Our client is seeking a Warehouse Operative Team Leader to join their dynamic team in North London.

Responsibilities:

As a Warehouse Operative Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse and contributing to the organisation's overall success. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Safely discharging your duties in accordance with relevant legislation and our client's EHS policies
  • Using all provided equipment following safe working practises.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse and yard, promptly clearing spillages and minimising waste
  • Accurately receiving and checking goods into the warehouse
  • Placing goods correctly into storage bays, ensuring safe storage, lifting, and lowering
  • Assisting in loading vehicles and complying with all legal requirements on vehicle loading


Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Previous experience in a warehousing role
  • Enthusiastic and highly driven individual
  • Ability and willingness to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team


Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Additional relevant certifications or training


Technologies:

  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Familiarity with inventory control software
