The job itself

This is an exciting time to join us, the future of Adult Safeguarding at East Riding is changing. We have just launched a new service delivery model and are looking for professionals to be the change makers that will drive our agenda forward, preventing and protecting people from abuse or neglect.

The Ambition of the SAFEGUARDING ADULT HUB is to Supports adults to maintain safe and happy lives free from abuse and neglect. Our safeguarding adult’s hub receives all incoming safeguarding adults concerns within our local authority area.

We operate a 4-stage model where our hub practitioners triage and make decisions about all incoming concerns and take a whole service and system wide approach to the completion of S42 enquiries to ensure people are supported through a safeguarding enquiry by the right people, at the right time.

The role of the Senior Technical Assistant is to support comprehensive, efficient and effective technical administrational support to the Safeguarding Adult Hub. To support individuals and the team to maximise on quality, service continuity and its objectives. The roles emphasis will be on efficiently supporting the technical allocation, co-ordination, and organisation of safeguarding referrals, concerns and sec42 enquiries.

The role will undertake more complex technical administrative duties and interface with performance.
