Your role
We are excited to announce that we are opening two brand new children’s homes across Suffolk and beginning the hiring process of looking for experienced professionals to join our adventure in developing this new project.
The main purposes of a children’s home deputy manager are to:
support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the children’s home, including deputising for them as required ensure a high standard of care in accordance with legislation, regulations, and the company’s policies assist in the management and development of the home and support staff to deliver excellent quality service safeguard and promote the welfare of all children and young people in the home carry out administrative tasks, complete monthly quality assurance reviews, and maintain the home to a high standard formulate personalized care plans for each individual, involving relevant professional agencies and relatives as needed manage the home in the absence of the Registered Manager and lead on Ofsted Inspections oversee the development of staff and the young people in placement, including updating placement plans, risk assessments, and positive handling plans.You will need:
experience as a Children’s Home Deputy Manager Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management experience of building relationships/rapports with others. experience of working in an environment requiring attention to detail and accuracy. experience of leading a team a driving licence (mandatory).About us
