Job descriptionAbout the role:
To work with vulnerable young people aged 11-25 within the community to provide one on one support as well as being responsible for the successful running of youth club and projects in the area. To plan and prepare activities for the youth club in the evenings.
About you:
The right person will:
Be able to build and maintain positive relationships with young people and strategic partners.Be willing to undertake corporate and bespoke training when requiredBe able to write reports and meet deadlinesHave knowledge of relevant legislations including Youth Engagement & Progression Framework.Be enthusiastic and committedHave good communication and listening skillsWilling to work eveningsWhat you will do:
Plan and organise youth work programmes.Manage a small caseload, to provide individual support to vulnerable young people.Record, monitor and evaluate youth work activities.Write reports and case studies.Supervise and provide advise to colleagues.Run the youth club social media page
