We are currently looking to recruit an Operations Manager to join our high performing Children Services Department and manage our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub and Duty and Assessment Service.
You will be joining a strong service, with experienced managers, at an exciting time for the social work profession and multi-agency working.
We are looking for a highly motivated social work professional who understands how to improve outcomes for children and who has a proven track record in statutory Children Services. The successful candidate will be an experienced front line manager or equivalent who will have strong management and leadership skills to provide excellent services that improve outcomes for our children and young people. You will be confident in contributing to service development in line with current national and regional trends.
Your practice must be evidence based and you will be confident in working in a multi-agency manner with key partners. You will be confident about assessing and managing risks to children and young people in the community whilst also being able to identify when care plans for children need to be reviewed so that they can remain safe and able to fulfil their full potential. You will be involved in decision making and care planning for individual children while also contributing at a strategic level. You will receive individualised support through a range of training and development opportunities to enable you to succeed in this role and to develop your career.
