At Brighter Places, we are pleased to announce that a vacancy has become available for a Supported Housing Worker to join our team in Rackfield House, Bath. You will join us on a part time, permanent basis, working 30 hours per week . In return, you will receive a starting salary of GBP22,917.57 .

Key Responsibilities as our Supported Housing Worker:

Ensuring that the service provides a safe and welcoming environment to clients and visitors by being a first point of contact in the building. Provide a welcoming and professional environment answering general enquires, and providing a safe environment for service users, stakeholders and visitors by ensuring that house rules are followed. Follow the lead from Team Lead to ensure that all performance and contractual targets are met. Support vulnerable adults at Rackfield house which support maximising and sustaining their income, managing risk by providing guidance and health and safety information. Provide regular structured outcome-focused support and development sessions and respond appropriately to changing or crisis situations. Carry out regular building and health and safety inspections

What we re looking for in our Supported Housing Worker:

Experience of supporting vulnerable adults or others. Experience in risk assessment, risk management and support planning. Excellent customer service skills and relevant experience in a customer focused role. Ability to deal with challenging situations calmly and assertively. Experience of building effective partnerships and links with a range of external organisations. Experience of managing a caseload. Ability to use Microsoft Office package including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams.

This role will require a DBS check.
