London, United Kingdom Sainsbury's Full time
Job Description
We'd all like amazing work to do, and real work-life balance. That's waiting for you at Sainsbury's. We're one of the biggest supermarkets in the UK with one of the largest websites. So marketing here really happens at scale. We move a lot faster than you'd think too, across Brand Planning, Brand Comms and Creative, Digital Marketing, CRM and Loyalty, Nectar 360, Insights, and Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability. More people shopping with us each week means more interactions. And thanks to data insight, we understand customers in a way that almost nobody else does. We work alongside incredible brand partners and the best agencies around. So if you have a passion to learn, grow and experience new teams, come and explore it all with us.

Why join us

Joining Sainsbury's as a Partnerships Executive offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact within our Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability division. By working closely with our key corporate partner, Comic Relief, and other partners, you will play a crucial role in tackling food poverty through our Nourish the Nation programme. As part of our team, you will have the chance to develop and deliver impactful campaigns, building strategic relationships across the business and ensuring our brand receives recognition for the social impact we create. With a supportive and collaborative environment, you will have the freedom to contribute your creative insights and drive positive change, while working with dedicated teams and stakeholders. Join us and be part of a passionate and purpose-driven organisation that is committed to making a difference in the communities we serve.

What you'll do

As a Partnerships Executive for Sainsbury's, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Community and Partnerships Manager in developing and executing impact campaigns with key corporate partner, Comic Relief, under the Nourish the Nation programme, as well as other key partners as required. This will involve overseeing and nurturing the relationship with Comic Relief, ensuring that our social impact initiatives in tackling food poverty for communities are effectively delivered. You will co-own the day-to-day relationship with various partners and agencies, participate in the development and execution of activation plans and campaigns, and collaborate closely with internal teams such as Marketing, PR, and Internal Communications to drive awareness and funds for our partnerships. Additionally, you will build strong relationships with stakeholders, manage the Marketing Partnerships budget, ensure accurate payment processing to charity partners, and act as an ambassador for our Nourish the Nation programme and partnership with Comic Relief across the organisation. Your success will be demonstrated through the successful delivery of campaigns, ensuring our brand receives credit for the impact it drives, coordination of new partnerships, and your ability to build excellent internal and external relationships.

Who you are

As the Partnerships Executive for Sainsbury's Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability team, you are a dedicated and passionate professional who plays a crucial role in developing and delivering impactful campaigns with key corporate partners, particularly Comic Relief, as part of the Nourish the Nation programme. With a strong understanding of the customer and retail landscape, you possess the skills to build effective relationships with charity partners, agencies, and internal stakeholders. Your attention to detail, project management abilities, and negotiation skills allow you to successfully coordinate and execute campaigns that drive awareness, funds, and social impact in tackling food poverty within our communities. With your enthusiasm, strategic thinking, and commitment to building outstanding partnerships, you contribute to Sainsbury's mission of providing Good Food for All of Us and make a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable communities.

#LI-SM1

We are committed to being a truly inclusive retailer, so you'll be welcomed whoever you are and wherever you work. Around here, there's always the chance to try something new - whether that's as part of an evolving team or somewhere else across the business - and we take development seriously and promise to support you. We also recognise and celebrate colleagues when they go the extra mile and, where possible, offer flexible working. When you join our team, we'll also offer you an amazing range of benefits. Here are some of them:

Starting off with colleague discount, you'll be able to get 10% off at Sainsbury's, Argos, TU and Habitat after 4 weeks. This increases to 15% off at Sainsbury's every Friday and Saturday and 15% off at Argos every pay day. We've also got you covered for your future with our pensions scheme and life cover. You'll also be able to share in our success as you may be eligible for a performance-related bonus of up to 10% of salary, depending on how we perform.

Your wellbeing is important to us too. You'll receive an annual holiday allowance, and you can buy additional holiday. We also offer other benefits that will help your money go further such as season ticket loans, cycle to work scheme, health cash plans, pay advance (where you can access some of your pay before pay day) as well access to a great range of discounts from hundreds of other retailers. And if you ever need it there is also an employee assistance programme.

Moments that matter are as important to us as they are to you which is why we give up to 26 weeks' pay for maternity or adoption leave and up to 4 weeks' pay for paternity leave.

Please see www.sainsburys.jobs for a range of our benefits (note, length of service and eligibility criteria may apply).
