Job summary

The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is looking for a property project manager, experienced in leading multi-site public sector property projects, to play a key role in the delivery of our ambitious property transformation strategy.

Job description

As Project Manager - Property, you will successfully lead, manage and deliver individual projects and associated change initiatives, in order to meet the expanding workplace needs of the CMA. We seek to implement workplace guidelines that align with our real estate strategy, workplace concepts, sustainability and technology standards.

You will provide clear leadership to project teams, managing team members effectively by utilising their specialisms, skills, knowledge, and strengths. You and your team will oversee the development of programmes, stakeholder mapping, business cases, cost plans, risk registers, contracts and site monitoring schemes. Of course, you will also coordinate with other teams and stakeholders across various professions and business groups to ensure project critical success is achieved and that projects are always delivered safely, on time, and on budget to meet the specified quality.

In addition, you will also help to shape the future CMA property and estate strategy.

Significant experience of leading and delivering multi-site property projects (up to the value of �10 million) in the public sector, and ideally also the private sector, across the property life cycle including; acquisitions, relocations, mobilisation, refurbishments and fitouts. (Lead criteria)Significant experience of developing, influencing and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds and professions, with the ability to operate within the multidisciplinary nature of relocations. (Lead criteria)Able to communicate workplace strategy and support the change management activities associated with the projects being delivered.�Proven ability to deliver projects to agreed specification, budget, and timeline, with the flexibility to adapt to project changes, alongside significant experience in drafting and managing project documents and reports to be circulated in proper time and manner.Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to display professionalism and empathy in an internal client facing role and work effectively with others who may have limited knowledge of the property industry.Professional Project Management certification such as Prince2 or PMP.
