We are looking for a KS2 Teacher whos based in or near Welwyn Garden City Hertfordshire The school is looking to appoint a class teacher who will enjoy teaching an academic yet creative topicbased curriculum in a school with exceptional pastoral care.

It is easily accessible by public transport and seeking to appoint a qualified Primary teacher from September 2024. The school has a Good Ofsted rating. Responsibilities of a KS2 teacher:

As a KS2 teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral care of children taking their first steps in Key Stage 2 promoting teamwork and cultivating a conducive learning environment.

Teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual childs learning targets encouraging their strengths and improving their weaknesses

Further developing maths ability and introducing fractions statistics and geometry

Help children develop their writing ability by creating plots characters and settings for stories.

Keeping track of childrens progress and occasionally reporting back to parents

KS2 Teacher requirements:

QTS PGCE and strong academic record

Creative imaginative determined resourceful and adaptable practitioner

Passionate about learning

Able to demonstrate a track record of success within a Year 6 environment

Able to communicate your passion to children and parents

Ability to demonstrate outstanding practice in the classroom
