Job Description

We are looking for a UI Architect / Director level to join our Sage Intacct architectural team.

Your mission is to lead and define architectural strategies, standards, and practices to enable integration of the Sage Business Cloud platform within Sage. Ensure the architecture roadmap is clearly communicated across all functions to enable the business to effectively plan, finance and execute, ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

You will have an opportunity to directly impact the future growth of Sage Intacct. Lead team along and convert software architecture vision into reality.

Responsibilities and decision ownership:

Project Management: you will lead the highest profile projects & products, directly impacting the future growth of Sage.

Design and Planning: ensure the architecture roadmap is clearly communicated across all functions to enable the business to effectively plan, finance and execute the product evolution.

Team Leadership and Collaboration: lead & influence technical & non-technical audiences across the organizational ladder, product lines and geographies.

Share ideas, insights, and technology trends to the broader technical audience within the company and externally.

Mentor team members to improve their skillsets.

You will play a key role in hiring, retention, and growth of talent: attract, evaluate, coach and mentor senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

About you:

You are hands-on and proficient in Front-end UI frameworks like React and Vue, as well as web components and mobile UI frameworks. Your expertise extends to server-side UI architecture, REST, and extensibility/customizations. Our technology stack revolves around UI Vue/React, REST, and web components.

Your leadership and interpersonal skills are strong, allowing you to guide teams and turn software architecture vision into reality. You possess a broad understanding of competing front-end and back-end technologies, enabling you to select the right ones for our needs.

Keeping up with the latest technology trends is second nature to you. Your communication skills are excellent, allowing you to articulate strategies effectively and garner buy-in from stakeholders.

You approach product development with innovation and an entrepreneurial spirit, striving to create products that profoundly impact customers' lives. Managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing tasks comes naturally to you.

Furthermore, you have experience in designing and implementing Architecture Best Practices and Patterns such as Microservices, CQRS, Event Sourcing, and Domain-Driven Design.
