Make a positive difference in someone’s life by becoming a Nightshift Complex Needs Practitioner Level 1 with The Richmond Fellowship Scotland in our brand new 24/7 Castle Douglas service and helping support the people who need it most in our communities

This recruitment is for growth for an adult with ABI support needs, who will be living at a new building based service specifically for him in Castle Douglas.

We need waking overnight staff from 10pm to 8am.

Specialist ABI and PBS training will be provided.

You do not need to have worked in care to apply for the Nightshift Complex Needs Practitioner Level 1 post as we will invest in your qualifications and provide full training through our award-winning learning & development team prior to starting.

We can currently offer Full Time, Part Time and Bank Nightshift Complex Needs Practitioner Level 1 contracts within the Castle Douglas team.

Happily, we can accept applications from non-drivers for these roles

About the Role :

Your responsibilities as a Nightshift Complex Needs Practitioner could include:

Medical Support - Administering and monitoring medication. Personal Care - Assisting people to maintain their wellbeing by promoting their personal care which would include assistance with bathing, dressing, arranging visits with the dentist/doctor, incontinence care. Practical Support - Helping people to maintain their tenancy by encouraging daily household tasks such as general housework, laundry, ironing, cooking, shopping.
