The job itself
Due to internal promotions and retirement, there is a great opportunity to join the East Riding of Yorkshire Council Fleet Services as a Vehicle Technician at the Carnaby Depot, an integral part of an award winning and successful council.
The vehicle maintenance team is looking to expand through recruiting several highly skilled experienced vehicle technicians on various shift patterns. This will enable us to keep up with the demands of maintaining the council’s diverse and varied fleet.
Applicants must have experience of working within a vehicle maintenance workshop and knowledge in diagnosing and repairing anything from LGV’s to plant equipment, duties including pre planned maintenance.

There is a possibility of additional enhancements on top of the stated salary, for example where the successful candidate may work unsociable hours or the opportunity to work overtime when it is available. This can be discussed in further detail with interview candidates.
