A new role has become available for a Southwest based, Fabrication Company who are a highly respected architectural metal-work and bespoke steel fabrication specialist.

Role: Fabricator / Welder

Type: Full time/Perm

Location: Taunton, Somerset

A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen to join our fabrication team. Ideally you will have a proven track record as an experienced fabricator/welder or completed an apprenticeship or BTEC level 3 in welding/fabrication and gained experience within the industry.

Role description:

Reporting to the Production Manager you will be working with the fabrication team producing a wide variety of bespoke architectural, secondary, and structural fabrications. Our workshops on the Galmington Estate in Taunton are modern, well laid out and efficient. Using the latest CNC processing technics our raw materials are pre-processed to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Typical Projects

Feature stairs, Access Stairs, Gantries & Walkways Balustrades and handrails Balconies Structural steelwork Bespoke architectural featuresely with the contracts and design department at both pre-submission and post order stage.

The right candidate will have the following .

Background in fabrication or manufacturing Be able to work from fabrication drawings Able to work well in a team Able to work on own initiative and self-motivated Good planning and organisational skills Punctual and Self-motivated Positive attitude to work with attention to detail Flexible approach and able to prioritise tasks 5 years' experience
