We're looking for an enthusiastic teacher with skills in Enterprise and Digital technology to deliver Business and Digital Enterprise lessons, primarily to our S1-3 cohort. You won't necessarily need to be a trained Business specialist, but creativity, dedication and enthusiasm are a must Our Business & Technology Faculty includes Business, Admin, Computing, and Design & Technology subjects, so you'll be working with a team of professionals with wide-ranging experience and skills.

Musselburgh Grammar School is a vibrant and ambitious secondary, serving the town of Musselburgh and the nearby village of Whitecraig. The Musselburgh community is strong and lively, and the Grammar sits proudly at the heart of it. Musselburgh is the largest town in East Lothian, has easy access to the City Bypass and is only 5 miles east of Edinburgh city centre with excellent bus and train links.

Job Details

Teaching relevant subject through S1-S6.

Subject to the policies of the school and the education authority the duties of teachers, promoted and unpromoted, are to perform such tasks as the Head Teacher shall direct having reasonable regard to overall teacher workload related to the following categories-

Teaching assigned classes together with associated preparation and correction
Developing the school curriculum
Assessing, recording and reporting on the work of pupils
Preparing pupils for examinations and assisting with their administration
Providing advice and guidance to pupils on issues related to their education
Promoting and safeguarding the health, welfare and safety of pupils
Working in partnership with parents, support staff and other professionals
Undertaking appropriate and agreed continuing professional development
Participating in issues related to school planning, raising achievement and individual review
Contributing towards good order and the wider needs of the school
