Casual Catering Assistant

Job Description

Provision of school meals. To undertake, normally under direct supervision, preparation and simple cooking, serving of food, kitchen duties.

Basic food prep, simple cooking, sandwich & salad preparation General kitchen & dining room duties, eg. Setting up and clearing away equipment, crockery and tables, cleaning of kitchen Maintaining good hygiene, Health & Safety and customer relations within the unit. Other duties as requested by the Senior Catering Assistant/Catering Supervisor.

You will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Clackmannanshire Council. Please note you will be required to pay for the cost of this application, if your salary is over £30, per annum, which will be deducted from your first salary.
