Join ICS Digital, where innovation meets expertise to create digital solutions. The team

As a change and Transition manager facilitating organisational transformations guided by our recent Target Operating Model (TOM) and other forthcoming changes. The TOM is designed as a beacon for continuous improvement, fostering seamless service delivery, effective customer outcomes, and robust growth amidst future changes.

In close partnership with senior leadership, you will ensure that our workforce is aligned with and supportive of transformational change, all while maintaining our commitment to exceptional service quality and resilience.

Positioned within our Digital Enablement and Delivery Office (DEDO), you will work alongside other key DEDO functions, including the Project Management Office (PMO), Engagement and People functions, to drive and support these pivotal changes.

Person specification

As a change and Transition manager� you will implement change within an operational setting, collaborating with functional teams to ensure that the impacts on people, processes, and technologies are fully understood, documented, and accounted for in the planning process.

The responsibilities to carry this out will be:

Lead and Envision Change:
Provide visible and strong leadership, engaging stakeholders and fostering an environment conducive to effective change across people, processes, and technologies. Utilise business acumen and behavioural insights to mitigate risks and influence change within functional areas and broader stakeholder groups.

Manage Change and Risks:
Proactively identify potential risks associated with the transition and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure that risk management is an integral part of the transition planning process. Advocate for the adoption of best practice business change management methodologies, tools, and processes, while offering expert guidance.

Engage and Build Trust:�
Establish strong relationships with stakeholders, manage communications effectively (in collaboration with our engagement lead), and ensure alignment with the change objectives.

Implement and Monitor Transitions:
Oversee the operational delivery of changes, monitor progress through established metrics, and report on transition statuses.

Develop Capabilities:
Facilitate capability building through training and support, ensuring the organisation sustains the changes.

Leverage Technical Expertise:�
Familiarity with digital tools to help drive the changes and embed new processes. High level understanding of technical architecture to support our technical teams in embedding change activities.

Essential Criteria:

-������������ Change and Transition Management: Proven experience in managing change/transition including addressing resistance.
-������������ Strategic Planning: Ability to develop, articulate and implement a clear vision for change and carry it through with monitoring.
-������������ Communication: Proficient in conveying information clearly and persuasively to a variety of stakeholders.
-������������ Project Management: Overseeing multiple tasks, timelines and resources ensuring all aspects are initiated and coordinated.
-������������ Strategic Thinking: The capacity to analyse and approach issues from a strategic perspective to drive long-term success.

Desirable:

Office attendance

The Department operates a discretionary hybrid working policy, which provides for a combination of working hours from your place of work and from your home in the UK.
