What is the role?
Children’s Health, Care and Justice Services in South Ayrshire is on an exciting transformational journey to provide the best possible outcomes for children and families through relationship based, family and community centred care. You will have a sound value base, excellent communication and report writing skills and a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the children and families social work role and responsibilities. Candidates should work well under pressure and be able to manage competing demands flexibly, and independently. Full training in the Signs of Safety and Safe and Together models will be offered to successful candidates.

Extra Information:
The Grade of this post is Grade 3 / Level 10: the hourly rate is from £23.90 to £25.13 and an annual salary is from £43, to £45,.
Applicants whose qualification award is pending within the next 6 months, are welcome to apply. If you are recommended for any of these posts, the initial appointment will be at Level 8 until your qualification is awarded.
The successful candidate will be able to work flexibly between home and the office and the frequency for attending the office may vary depending on the exigencies of the service.
This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act . Accordingly the preferred candidates will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal Offer of Employment being made.
