Due to an increase in numbers, we require a full time Nursery Nurse/Key Teacher to join our fabulous maintained nursery school within the heart of the Beverley Community. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, motivated and shares our child centred vision. We are a trauma informed Nursery School who prides itself on Creating an environment where children can build a strong self of wellbeing. The successful candidate will support these values and practices and support our children to become
confident and resilient learners. We are part of an East Riding collaboration of Nursery schools, allowing us to benefit from a wealth of expertise across our four nurseries, as well as enabling us to provide opportunities for the sharing of good practice and high-quality training.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and hard-working applicant who has a good understanding of the principles of the EYFS and secure child development knowledge.
The role will include responsibility for a Key Worker group, supporting individuals and taking learning forward during child initiated play. As part of our team you will support all aspects of the nursery including setting up and maintaining high quality provision inside and outside, health and safety checks, first aid, assessment and observation of children.
The successful candidate will need to be flexible, enthusiastic and happy to work as part of a team. Beverley Manor Nursery School is committed to the safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
All applicants will be interviewed by a panel and be observed working with children in the nursery setting by a member of the SLT. Each question will be scored as will practice and the highest scoring applicants will be appointed to the post.
