Performance and Assurance Officer

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hard working and committed officer to be part of our highly innovative and motivated performance and assurance team.
The pace is fast and the work can be complex. You will need excellent engagement and communication skills as well as being pedantic on detail when tracking performance and assuring documentation for inspections and peer challenge.
You must be able to plan and organise your work, have natural professional curiosity and be able to work in a multi-agency manner. You must have a can-do attitude as this work can be very demanding at times but at the same time extremely rewarding.
The team works across the wider Community Enablement team and with its wider partners. Using a performance and assurance framework the team design, promote continuous improvement of and ensure the efficient and effective implementation of the portfolio’s operational systems and processes, including those relating to business planning, communications, meetings, partnerships, personnel, budget management, quality assurance and external audit/inspection. This post will support the Senior Officer in achieving the outcomes of the team. It will also provide a comprehensive and high-quality support service to senior managers within Community Enablement.
