Are you dedicated and detail-oriented? Our client is seeking a Cleaner to join their team in Deeside. As a Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in their facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff, customers, or guests.

Job Title: Cleaner

Location: Deeside

Remuneration: Up to £12 per hour

Contract Details: Two-week cover, Monday-Friday, 4pm-6pm

Responsibilities:

  • Clean, dust, and sanitise all assigned areas, including floors, surfaces, furniture, restrooms, and kitchen spaces.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors and carpets.
  • Empty trash bins and replace liners; ensure waste is disposed of properly.
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
  • Replenish supplies, such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed, including scrubbing and disinfecting surfaces.
  • Report any maintenance issues, such as broken fixtures or equipment, to the supervisor.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines, including the use of appropriate cleaning products and equipment.
  • Ensure cleaning equipment is maintained and stored correctly.
  • Work with other cleaning staff to ensure all duties are completed in a timely manner.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
  • Good physical condition and ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and work efficiently.
  • Dependable, punctual, and with a positive attitude.


What are we looking for? If you have previous cleaning experience, great attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. However, prior experience is not strictly necessary, as our client is willing to provide training for the right candidate.

In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors and carpets. You will also ensure that all assigned areas, including restrooms and kitchen spaces, are clean, organised, and free from hazards.

As a Cleaner, it will be important to follow health and safety guidelines, use the appropriate cleaning products and equipment, and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor. You should also have good physical condition and be able to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
