This is an exciting opportunity for someone to become part of our very successful pastoral team. The post holder will need to have experience of working with a range of professionals in order to support children and families to stay safe, secure and ready to learn. 

This will entail being the Pastoral Manager (Deputy Designated Safeguarding lead)and working closely with our headteacher to support our more vulnerable pupils, alongside our team in school, plus social care and our Early Help worker. They will also need to be able to support children with their well-being and mental health delivering Tier 1 and Tier 2 support as a pastoral manager. 

This post has become available due to flexible retirement and so the successful applicant would need to be ready to work as part of an established team, they must have good communication skills and a good sense of humour. We are also eager to appoint someone who understands social care thresholds, the challenges of working with young children and their families and is prepared to work hard to keep children safe.
