Pricing Analyst

Salary: GBP35k-GBP50k depending on experience

Location: Hybrid/Bristol

Remuneration: Annual salary from GBP35,000 to GBP50,000

Contract Details: Permanent, Full time position with a hybrid working arrangement

Responsibilities :

Perform detailed analysis of insurance data to support pricing decisions. Investigate and identify opportunities for pricing adjustments to improve business performance. Assist in developing and maintaining future performance projections. Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to address business questions. Collaborate with team members to develop innovative data assets and processes. Communicate pricing insights and analysis findings to stakeholders from various business areas. Support the team by contributing to overall pricing strategy and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities :

As a Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting detailed analysis of insurance data to support pricing decisions. You will collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for pricing adjustments and develop future performance projections. Additionally, you will conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to address business questions and provide data-driven recommendations. Strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach to exploring data-driven opportunities are essential for this role.

Required Skills and Experience :

Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a data-rich environment. Interest in insurance pricing and a proactive approach to exploring data-driven opportunities. Effective communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and presenting data insights. Ability to simplify complex problems and provide clear business recommendations. Experience with software tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or similar is advantageous. Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
