You will be fluent in discussing data ingestion, transformation, and representation, and adept at conducting root cause analysis to address core issues. You will excel in analysing IT system capabilities and modelling technical requirements. Collaborating with other digital professionals, you will develop apps, identify functionality gaps, and assess the impact of software changes. Your data-driven insights will support the formulation of strong business cases.�

In this role, you will manage and communicate change effectively, conduct strategic and root cause analyses, and model business processes and system data. You will evaluate options, define requirements, and improve business processes through workshops, interviews, and prototyping. Delivering user-centric business solutions with agile methodologies will be a key aspect of your responsibilities.�

To be successful, you will have significant experience in managing, communicating, and embedding change, extensive experience in requirements analysis and process definition in a digital, data, and technology environment, and a strong ability to visualise, model, and document business processes. Your stakeholder management skills will be exceptional, enabling you to clarify needs and commitments while focusing on user and business needs.�

Job description

We are building our digital capabilities to support our objective of providing best-in-class digital services to Ofgem, the energy regulator for Great Britain. Ofgem works to protect energy consumers, especially vulnerable people, by ensuring they are treated fairly and benefit from a cleaner, greener environment.

We require the skills of a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join our Markets Data Improvement Programme. You will play a pivotal role in delivering one of our Forward Work Programme objectives to drive up Ofgem�s approach to data and incentivise supplier performance.

Person specification

Significant experience in successfully managing, communicating and embedding change (LEAD) Extensive experience in requirements analysis and process definition in a digital, data and technology environment.
