2nd Chef.

• £14.82 per hour
• 40 hours per week working across 4 days on a 2 week rolling rota and alternate weekends off
• Shifts: 7am – 5pm

As a 2nd Chef at our home your role may involve:

• Supporting the Head Chef and the rest of the catering team with providing fresh homecooked meals from scratch to our residents
• Delivering the highest possible culinary standards to residents by providing nutritious wellbalanced and appetising meals from a clean safe and hygienic environment
• Supporting with controlling the catering budget
• Maintaining a hygienic and compliant working environment
• Supporting with all day to day aspects of the catering operation
• Compliance with quality and safety standards
• Submitting food orders
• Undertaking any necessary training
• This role sits below the Head Chef

What are we looking for

• Previous experience working in a busy kitchen environment
• A passion for producing fresh home cooked food from scratch to the highest standards.
• Friendly and enthusiastic disposition ability to integrate well with others.
• Good organisational skills ability to prioritise workloads.
• Preferably NVQ level 2 in food hygiene
