As Growth Marketing Manager, you'll be responsible for driving the development and implementation of a comprehensive lead generation plan, across the complete value chain for our Individual and SME direct customers.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll spend time in our Tunbridge Wells office at least 2 days each month.

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage a range of multi-channel and multi-lingual digital paid marketing campaigns to deliver lead targets for direct individual and SME clients.
  • Lead brand awareness activity, delivering at least one digital brand campaign per year.
  • Deliver marketing collateral, web content, and offline activity linked to driving leads.
  • Put in place and manage paid media remarketing activity to support renewal targets of direct individual and SME clients.
  • Drive improvements to SEO and PPC performance. Working with web, content and copy teams to deliver an SEO-optimised digital marketing content and assets calendar.
  • Optimise paid media activity, proactively coming up with ideas and strategies to consistently increase effectiveness of the paid media plan.
  • Digital reporting, maintaining performance reports and full lead gen funnel analysis.
  • Implement an affiliates strategy and test new affiliate opportunities working with sales, as well as experimenting other paid channels.
  • People manage the lead generation team, paid media agency and overall paid media budget.
  • Be accountable for generating annual leads targets with key performance indicators (KPIs) including lead quality, volume and cost per lead (CPL).

What we're looking for:

  • Hands-on lead generation marketing expertise for business to customer (B2C), with SME / ABM experience a plus - essential.
  • Proven track record in running and optimising digital paid media channels (PPC, Meta, Programmatic, etc.) with strong knowledge of SEO and organic channels - essential.
  • Demonstratable experience using Google analytics (GA4) and Google suite (Google Tag Manager, etc.) - essential.
  • Highly analytical, comfortable managing large sets of numbers. Passion for tracking and reporting on marketing funnel performance using tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, Microsoft Excel - essential.
  • Experience in financial services or insurance - preferred.
  • Track record in marketing effectiveness optimization, with strong understanding of sales and marketing funnel data.
  • Expertise of managing digital media agency and sizeable paid media budget (£1m+).
  • Team management experience.
  • Highly organised with strong appreciation for project management principles.
  • Knowledge of working in a dynamic and agile environment, delivering work at pace, yet within strict compliance guidelines.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.

This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
