We are currently looking for a Principal Process Engineer to join the business, to lead the Process Engineering on projects, and support the Head of Department as required. It is expected the individual would be have experience in Brownfield and Greenfield projects, covering FEED and EPC work.

Qualifications:
  • BSc / BEng in an appropriate engineering discipline with a minimum of 15 years’ experience.
Desirable: 
  • Chartered Engineer

Knowledge, skills, and experience:
  • Minimum of 15 years general engineering experience with at least 10 years in the Process & Energy business sector focusing on the design office
  • Experience of delivering EPC projects
  • Experience of delivering Pharmaceutical projects
  • Experience of cGMP
  • Responsible for delivery of all Process Engineering project activities and deliverables within budget and schedule
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to problem-solve effectively
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Well-developed computer skills and knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, and engineering design programs.
  • Leadership ability/skills with ability to delegate effectively
  • Understanding of British and common international standards in the Process & Energy Sector
  • Produce and review specifications, data sheets, schedules, study reports, and design calculations; ensuring that they conform to engineering quality, competence, and project management systems
  • Develop engineering philosophies, equipment specifications and monitor project/contractor/vendor compliance to these
  • Provide sound technical advice and solutions to a diversity of technical problems within the discipline
  • Attend client meetings and communicate issues with other engineers as required
  • Needs to be based at the Montrose site for 5 days/week
