Job Description

The purpose of this post is to provide ICT/AV support services to all departments, members of staff, pupils and other stakeholders in the school.

Responsibilities

Specialised ICT and AV Tasks Health and Safety Provision and organisation of materials and equipment Responsible for relevant in-service training / CPD Financial responsibility including inventory tasks

The Individual

Expertise in a minimum of one of the areas of ICT /Technical /AV Qualified to HNC level in a Electrical/Electronic Engineering; or ICT; or equivalent as demonstrated by experience in any of these fields Proven time management and organisational skills In depth knowledge of software applications including word, excel and general internet access Flexible approach to work and willingness to learn Self confidence Self motivated Ability to work as part of a team A commitment to ensure that appropriate health and safety standards are met Evidence of an ability to prioritise work tasks for self Ability to accurately record information Excellent communication skills both oral and written An ability to communicate technical ICT issues to all within the school environment Ability to lift and carry computer hardware in conjunction with moving and handling regulations

Starting Salary: £29,.10
£15.46 per hour
36.25 Hours per week
