2 x DevOps Engineer – Permanent – Knutsford

Hybrid based, 3 days on site, 2 days remote 

DevOps Engineer that an customize Docker, strong Kafka, experience of Elastic Stack, work at infrastructure level. Preference for Java 8 and 11, to do the operations side of the platform and develop on top of the current platforms.  CI/CD, JavaScript, React.js, Node.js A track record in design & implementation of solutions, preferably in Service & API led architecture including exposure to: Containerization using Docker & Orchestration, Microservices & distributed application frameworks, RESTful API, Elastic Stack, Database (MySQL, MSSQL, MongoDB).

DevOps Engineer Description

This DevOps Engineer role is varied & will see you taking on multiple responsibilities including driving innovation, probing new technologies, leading the development team, shaping the department best practices & working on enterprise grade software systems with cutting-edge technologies. This would suit someone who is looking to work in an exciting & agile environment that offers variety & the ability to make a genuine impact on the business.

DevOps Engineer Responsibilities

You would be responsible to drive the design, development, coding, testing & debugging of applications.

DevOps Engineer Desired Skills & Experience

Minimum Requirements
  • 5 years’ experience as a DevOps/Software Developer
  • Prior experience in a technical leadership position
  • College or University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • Extensive experience designing & developing enterprise grade software of large scale, high availability, & geographically distributed cloud applications
