Senior Management Accountant

Summary of Responsibilities
Ensure all management accounting and monthly reporting is completed in accordance with group instruction and applicable deadlines Analyse monthly management accounting results and present to Senior Management, including the Finance Director Review and perform internal finance controls, such as balance sheet reconciliations, and permanent supervision controls as required Setting and reviewing of both team and personal objectives for the ALD Management Accounting team, in line with business needs Recruit, train, motivate, engage, manage and retain team members by line managerial responsibility for the Management Accounting team Support Head of Accounting & Reporting with ad hoc project workSkills & Experience required
Qualified Chartered (ICAEW, ICAS, CIMA) or Certified (ACCA) Accountant Previous people management experience Competent user of Microsoft Excel (comfortable with pivot tables, nested formulas, key functions including VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, IF, SUMIF, SUMPRODUCT etc.) Self-motivated and comfortable working independently, asking for support or input from line manager and colleagues wherever required Experience in managing and communicating with a range of stakeholders Appetite to further develop technical accounting and industry knowledge Develops others by sharing own experience and expertiseIn exchange the annual salary offered is between GBP40,000-GBP55,000 dependent on experience
