Banking & Treasury Sales Specialist

Responsibilities
- Provide banking & treasury management product sales expertise, advice & consultation to existing clients and prospects.
- Liquidity & Treasury Mgt. discussions, opportunity assessment & follow up
- Treasury Mgt Demos & Discussion
- Relationship Reviews.
- Cultivate, communicate, and execute on defined business development & other strategic initiatives to drive incremental growth and support the client lines of business.
- Coordinate and partner with pricing and promotions lead for seamless communication, execution, and feedback to the sales force on initiatives driving deposit growth and balance sheet optimization.
- Assisting Regional Sales Lead with:
- National & Regional Sales, Strategy & Pipeline reporting
- Reporting of Weekly wins/losses for the team
- Ad hoc internal projects & partnerships
- Solicit, track, and share client feedback with product management. Support feedback loop keeping internal partners & clients updated.
- Sales Activity Tracking (Pipeline, Initiatives, Salesforce etc.) including wins, losses and large flows (in/out) inquiry and follow up.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly balances, flows, decliners, increases and then work with Pricing teams and bankers to take appropriate action.
Qualifications:
- A good track record of experience in a similar role.
- Solid experience in cash management, banking and client interfacing experience
- Have knowledge of Treasury Management products, banking & the client sales cycle
- Awareness of Private Banking (preferable but not required)
- Builds robust working relationships with clients and internal colleagues
- Strong written, listening & verbal communication skills
- Excellent consultative selling & negotiation ability
- Proficiency in MS Office, internet applications & pipeline reporting systems
Education:
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation or willingness to pursue within 1-2 years of hire
