A unique opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic apprentice to join East Suffolk Service Limited as a Finance Apprentice .

Your role

Working closely with a friendly team, your role will be to support the Finance team in the delivery of financial assistance, planning and support across the company. You will be working daily with our main accounting system, Business Central and Microsoft Office products, predominately Excel.

Your duties will include supporting with processing of invoices, assisting colleagues with budget monitoring, account reconciliations, costings and analysis. 

What you will need

You will need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills and IT skills and a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade C or above or grade 4 -9 (or equivalent). No previous administrative experience is required, as full training will be provided. 

Apprenticeship open evening

We are pleased to announce that in conjunction with East Suffolk Council, we will be holding two open evenings at the Melton and Lowestoft offices. This will give you the opportunity to find out more about East Suffolk Council and East Suffolk Services Limited’s apprenticeship scheme, learn more about each of our available opportunities direct from the placement managers and ask any questions you have. The open evenings are taking place on the following dates - 

14 May 2024 , 5.30 pm - 7 pm at the East Suffolk House offices, Riduna Park, Station Road, Melton, Woodbridge IP12 1RT 16 May 2024 , 5.30 pm - 7 pm at the Riverside Offices, 4 Canning Road, Lowestoft, NR33 0EQ.
