Preschool Manager

Happy Faces is a lovely, voluntarily managed, term-time-only preschool situated in a residential area of Haverhill Suffolk. We promote a relaxed and happy atmosphere focusing on learning through play in a way that caters to each child as an individual. We are seeking a committed, knowledgeable, and empathetic person to have a hands-on approach to all aspects of Preschool life.
The manager will report to the committee but will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the pre-school.
Main Purpose of job
To provide inclusive play and learning opportunities for all pre-school children and maintain a safe, stimulating, and enjoyable environment. To lead and manage staff on a day-to-day basis. To contribute to and implement the preschool policies. To ensure that all statutory, legal, and setting obligations are followed and met.
Qualifications
Essential
Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification.Desirable
Level 4 or higher in Early Years. Current First Aid certificate. Food hygiene certificate.Experience / Knowledge
Essential
Experience of working (2 years minimum) in an Early Years setting with some leadership responsibilities. Experienced Early Years Educator.Desirable
Early Year’s childcare and education experience. Experience in administration including budget management.What we can offer:
