Background

Menlo Park are working with a very highly regarded and long standing GP surgery, looking to add a Lead Practice Nurse for 30 hours per week to lead the nursing team. The practice requires someone with a strong Practice Nurse background, either as a Nurse Manager already or someone ready to take that next step, ideally with experience managing a small team. There would be a mixture of clinical workload and management, representing the nursing team in meetings etc. This is a superb opportunity to join a very well-established and respected team that is very supportive regarding the progression and development of all staff members.

Salary GBP48,000 - GBP51,000 per annum FTE DOE + NHS pension + 5 weeks annual leave + Bank Holidays + Indemnity

Your role

Need experience as a Practice Nurse as well as ideally having experience managing a small team 30 hours per week ideally over 5 days. Benefit from a very supportive team around you. Be experienced with the routine practice nurse duties and experience with Lead the nursing team and represent the team in meetings, etc. Work closely with managers and partners to ensure delivery of high quality care No home visits.
