As part of North Ayrshire Council’s Modern Apprentice Recruitment Process if, following interview, you are chosen as a Preferred Candidate, you must complete a 1-week pre-employment Course with one of our Employability Partners, before being issued with a Conditional Offer of Employment.

The qualification to be achieved on completion of the Modern Apprenticeship is SCQF 5.

Modern Apprenticeship posts are open to all North Ayrshire Residents aged 16-19yrs old at commencement of employment

Working North Ayrshire invites you to apply for an apprenticeship in Business & Admin within the following Teams:- Care at Home – On a daily basis you will support wider Team within Care at Home. Your duties will involve dealing with mail, telephones, filing, scanning and typing documents. Throughout your day you will utilise all aspects of Office , i.e. Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and others, as well as using computer systems bespoke to the North Ayrshire Council and the Health & Social Care Partnership, whilst working towards your SCQF 5. Children & Families Team - Working across three admin teams that support Children and Families workers, dealing with mail, telephones, filing and typing of all documents.
