Job description

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will:

understand user needs and lead on writing good quality user stories to reflect these needs. You�ll identify, define and manage the objectives of a business and will specify requirements from both a business and user perspective.map business processes, identify associated costs and pain points as well as opportunities to improve them.identify important stakeholders, tailoring communication to their needs, and work with teams to build relationships while also meeting user needs. define test conditions, identify issues and risks associated with work while being able to analyse and report test activities and results. use data to decide which products and features should be prioritised and then manage expectations around this. collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (including policy people, product people, user researchers and technical architects) to understand user needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.support the development of robust business cases - help to identify and analyse potential benefits, options for achieving those benefits and associated business risks. understand the difference between user needs and the desires of the user.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll have:

experience of working as a business analyst or a related profession in an agile team. practical experience in process modelling and requirements gathering. experience of managing internal and external stakeholders. excellent presentation, facilitation and communication skills. experience of talking about and advocating for user-centred design in a way that other people understand. ability to take ownership, but seek feedback. ability to actively collaborate with user researchers and product managers.problem solving and decision-making skills.
