The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Production Technologist to join our London team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for setting the overall direction for Production Technology / Production Engineering for Ghana Subsurface, reporting directly to the Field Developments Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the technical authority for flow assurance and optimization of gathering networks for the deepwater developments in West Africa.
Conduct comprehensive reviews of integrated production systems, including long-term production chokes analysis and identification of optimization solutions.
Identify and lead the maturation of intervention and workover opportunities.
Oversee the review, maturation, design, and implementation of artificial lift strategies.
Provide essential Production Technology input and analysis for projects, such as subsea tie-backs, facilities expansion, and debottlenecking initiatives.
Contribute to well planning and execution, including review of completions design.
Support M&A evaluations as required.

Skills and Experience

20+ years of oil and gas industry experience
Proficiency in Prosper, GAP, and other analytical tools
In-depth knowledge and application of production technology/engineering in both oil and gas reservoirs
Proven expertise in flow assurance and production chemistry
Experience with subsea and deepwater developments
Strong background in intelligent well completions
Successful leadership of a Production Technology function
Up-to-date knowledge of industry technologies and a strong network for accessing solutions
Petroleum Engineering degree (Master's level preferred)
