If the preferred candidate is found to be disqualified under the 2018 Regulations, the offer of employment will be subject to the application by the preferred candidate to Ofsted for a waiver and the receipt of a waiver from Ofsted.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly organised individual to become a valued member of the school team at The Haven CE Methodist School, a proud member of the Diocese of Chichester Academy Trust. We are seeking a committed Lead Practitioner to enhance our teaching and learning practises and contribute significantly to the ongoing improvement of our school.
In this role, the Lead Practitioner will play a crucial part in driving forward the quality of teaching and learning within the school. They will have the opportunity to lead by example, sharing best practises, and implementing innovative strategies to elevate the educational experience for both pupils and staff.
The successful candidate will have the chance to work collaboratively with a dedicated team of teachers, benefiting from a supportive environment that values professional growth and development. This role presents an exciting prospect for an individual passionate about making a positive impact in the field of education and contributing to the school's journey towards excellence. The role will be class based with dedicated leadership time allocated to the post weekly.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the improvement of teaching skills through modelling, coaching and mentoring across the school Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching and learning approaches. Provide support and guidance to teachers to enhance pupil outcomes. Contribute to the school's professional development programmes. Stay updated on educational best practises and trends.Qualifications and Experience:
Qualified teacher status with a proven track record of excellence in teaching. Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate others.
